This manual explains every major screen, feature, and workflow in ZelSafe: how to learn with cards, take quizzes, use Apple Watch, view progress, generate reports, use widgets, restore cards, search, play training games, and complete the course.
ZelSafe is a cybersecurity awareness training app built around visual threat cards, short safety briefs, quizzes, games, progress tracking, Apple Watch support, and local training reports. It helps learners recognize scams, phishing, fraud, impersonation, malware, deepfakes, ransomware, password risks, unsafe apps, unsafe links, and other common digital threats.
Open threat cards, inspect the visuals, read safety cues, listen to audio briefs, and review sample scam scenarios.
Use Quick Quiz, Category Quiz, Cyber Safety Challenge, and training games to reinforce what you learned.
Track mastery in My Score and generate a local certificate and audit report after completion.
The Today screen is the daily learning hub. It shows one featured threat card, a motivational safety message, daily safety accordions, a game challenge, and Latest Threats when new cards are available.
The Cards tab is the complete library. It contains topic categories and quick actions.
Opens a random visible card from the library. Useful when you want quick practice without choosing a topic.
Opens cards you saved with the heart button. Saved cards stay saved even if you reset score data.
Each category tile opens a category detail page with cards and a category quiz. Mastered cards you chose to hide will not appear unless you restore mastered cards in Settings.
The Card Viewer is where you inspect a card, listen to its audio brief, open quizzes, save the card, share mastered cards, and move through the stack.

Mastery badge: a mastered card shows a badge only after both parts are complete — the audio brief has finished and the card quiz has been passed. If a card has no quiz, finished audio alone can complete it.
Latest Threats is a special section for newly highlighted cards. It appears on Today only when there are visible latest threat cards.
If all latest threats are marked seen, the Latest Threats row is hidden from Today until new threats are added.
The Quiz tab contains standard quiz modes and game-based practice.

Correct answers and explanations are shown for learning. This is intentional: ZelSafe is awareness training, so understanding the concept matters.
A game-based cyber safety drill. Play to answer scam-related prompts, earn coins, and build Alien Polis rewards shown in My Score. Open it from Today's Challenge or Quiz, use the in-game controls, and close with the close button. Coins and play stats appear in My Score.
A memory challenge that trains recall by matching scam signals and patterns. It opens inside the app and can be closed with the in-game close control.
A landscape game where you shoot cyber threats in a fast drill. Rotate or use the landscape presentation as shown by the app, and use the clear close button to exit back to ZelSafe.
Games are training aids. Required course progress is verified from completed audio briefs and passed quiz evidence, while game rewards remain separate practice stats.
My Score is the progress dashboard. It shows mastery, cards viewed, saved cards, quiz history, challenge performance, game rewards, badges, category progress, readiness insights, certificate access, settings, and rating.
The certificate screen creates a local PDF certificate and compliance audit JSON. These files are generated on the device from local progress.
When the certificate is locked: if course completion is not finished, My Score shows the certificate as locked. You can preview a sample certificate, but sharing is unlocked only after completing the required training.
Open My Score and tap Settings to manage the card pool, score data, and app information.

Reset warning: Reset Score clears local progress. Use it only when you intentionally want to start over.
Search helps you find cards without browsing categories. Search can match scams, brands, safety topics, card titles, and related quiz concepts.
Hidden mastered cards do not appear in results unless restored in My Score settings.
The Apple Watch app gives quick access to cards and audio learning. It is optimized for small-screen viewing, quick listening, search, categories, and Watch-to-iPhone completion sync. When opened, the Watch app selects a card and shows it in the Watch Card Viewer; if content is still loading, a progress indicator appears.
On Apple Watch, completing the audio brief marks the audio portion complete and sends the update to iPhone through WatchConnectivity. The Watch also sends card study time. A success haptic and the Watch completion display appear after audio completion.
Remove Watch completion: if a Watch-completed badge is visible, tap the badge to remove the Watch completion state and update iPhone.

Important: full card mastery requires the audio portion and the quiz portion. Watch audio completion can satisfy the audio portion, but the certificate still requires the related quiz evidence on cards that have quizzes.
ZelSafe includes a Home Screen widget that shows the current threat card image, so you see the daily training card without opening the app.
ZelSafe completion is built around learning, practice, and mastery. The app records local progress and calculates verified completion from audio completion plus quiz evidence.
Current rule: quiz alone is not enough, and audio alone is not enough when a quiz exists. ZelSafe marks a card mastered only after both required parts are done.
ZelSafe shows explanations so learners understand the concept. This is awareness training, not a proctored exam. Retrying is allowed because repetition improves recognition and safer behavior.
After mastering a card, you can swipe it upward to hide it from the active pool. This does not remove mastery — it only cleans up the card pool. Restore hidden cards from My Score settings.
ZelSafe is privacy-first. Training progress is stored locally on the device. The app does not require an account, login, cloud sync, or analytics tracking.
Certificates, audit JSON, shared cards, and achievement shares leave the device only when the user chooses to share them through the system share sheet or email flow.
