Microsegmentation and East-West Traffic Security Design
RCCE students will learn how to design network and workload segmentation strategies that restrict lateral movement and enforce least-privilege communication between systems, services, and zones. RCCE students will learn to classify assets, define trust groups, map east-west dependencies, validate segmentation rules, and measure whether internal traffic controls actually reduce attack paths. The course covers practical scenarios ranging from policy design to enforcement, verification, and exception management. RCCE students will learn to analyze complex systems and think like an attacker to better defend the organization. This comprehensive course delivers practical knowledge applicable to real-world cybersecurity operations. Starting from foundational concepts, RCCE students will learn through a combination of concept explanation, practical demonstration, and hands-on exercises.
