Brand monitoring Hardening Clinic
RCCE students will learn brand monitoring and protection through threat intelligence including domain impersonation detection, typosquatting monitoring, social media brand abuse, and counterfeit detection. RCCE students will learn to establish brand monitoring programs that detect unauthorized use of organizational brands and trademarks, identify phishing domains and lookalike websites, monitor social media platforms for brand impersonation, detect counterfeit products and unauthorized resellers, coordinate takedown actions with registrars and platform providers, analyze brand abuse trends, and integrate brand monitoring findings into broader threat intelligence and anti-fraud programs. This hands-on hardening course focuses on reducing attack surface through practical configuration changes and security guardrails. Starting from foundational concepts, RCCE students will learn to apply hardening baselines, validate configurations, and measure the security improvement achieved. Students walk away with actionable hardening checklists and the skills to maintain hardened configurations as environments evolve.
